Sideswipe Autobot - Corvette Stingray Pictures
The mystery of the Transformers 2 Corvette spied on set was finally revealed at the Chicago Auto Show. This Corvette Sting Ray Concept plays homage to the classic split window 1963 Corvette Sting Ray. It will be used in the upcoming Transformers 2 movie as the Autobot Sideswipe.
There are 100% NO plans for this cars production. Transformers director Michael Bay apparently toured GM styling studios looking for new characters for the movie and was so impressed by the Sting Ray Concept he had to create the character Sideswipe so that he could incorporate it into the movie!
